Werner Sobek is part of the exhibition “Shukhov. Formular of Architecture“
In cooperation with the Shukhov Tower Foundation the Schusev State Museum of Architecture presents an international exhibition project dedicated to the heritage of the Russian engineer and inventor Vladimir Shukhov (1853 – 1939). The largest monothematic show on Shukov so far documents his working methods and his contribution to structural engineering in modern European architecture.
We are pleased to be part of this exhibition − Werner Sobek’s work is shown as part of the Stuttgart School of Lightweight Structures, next to works by Fritz Leonhardt, Frei Otto, and Jörg Schlaich. The exhibition is on display until 19 January 2020 at the Schusev State Museum of Architecture in Moscow.
